Well, this is it. The last Filipino Friday leading up to the ReaderCon, which is a mere 5 days away. Thank you to everyone who’s been participating in this meme. We’ve gotten to know all of you a little better and learned a few more things about Filipino readers.

If you’ve come late to the game, you can still pipe in with your thoughts about the topics for each week. Here’s a rundown of what we’ve discussed:

Week 1 - Introduce Yourself

Week 2 - How did you become a reader?

Week 3 - How hard or easy is it to become a book lover in the Philippines?

Week 4 - Do you read Filipino literature?

And this week’s topic:

What do you hope will happen in the Filipino ReaderCon? What are you expecting from the event?

This ReaderCon, being the first of its kind, is a gauge for us to determine what else we can do as Filipino readers. Therefore your responses to this topic will be a big, big help to the organizers, not just for this ReaderCon, but for future initiatives.

Once you post your answers in your site, don’t forget to post the link to it at Mister Linky below.

And don’t worry. This may be the last ReaderCon Filipino Friday, but this won’t be the last time you’ll see Filipino Friday. Filipino Friday is actually a meme that started out in the Filipino Book Bloggers website. So after the ReaderCon, we’ll be returning the meme to that site, and you can check out the topics there.

And don’t forget to come to the ReaderCon on Wednesday, Sept. 14!
